ACEC New York Engineering Excellence Awards Panels

Judged panels for the ACEC New York Engineering Excellence Awards Galathe “Academy Awards” of the consulting engineering industry.

For three years, during my time with Tectonic Engineering, I was tasked with designing several entry panels and writing executive summaries for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) New York Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA). To quote acecny.org: “Each year, over 50 firms submit projects that are judged on a rigorous set of criteria, which includes complexity, innovation and value to society. In addition to celebrating among peers, the EEA helps to publicize the many significant contributions consulting engineers make to the built environment throughout the world.” Preparation of the written pieces and retrieval of project photos required extensive research and collaboration with project managers and field staff.

The entry panels were displayed digitally as part of a presentation to the judges. They were also printed at 30” x 30” and displayed on the night of the Awards Gala during the reception.
