About Me

I am a multi-disciplinary graphic artist and marketing professional with nearly eight years of in-house corporate marketing design experience in the A/E/C (architecture, engineering & construction) industry. Originally from Long Island, New York, I received my BFA in Communications Design with emphasis in Illustration at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY prior to pursuing graphic design full time. I also have a background in freelance illustration and design, with an emphasis in working with independent music projects.

I have always had a passion for visual storytelling, and my well-rounded education and experience are what give me a competitive edge. With my combined discipline in both fine arts and design, I utilize my knowledge of layout, composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy across all of my work.

I fully embrace being an integral part of a team of professionals, giving and receiving feedback throughout all project phases, and inspiring my teammates by maintaining a positive attitude from day one. As someone who regularly works with both internal and external clients, I appreciate the un-trained eye of the “non-designer” in order aid in communicating a message as efficiently as possible. My philosophy is that visual appeal is a major contributing factor to success, whether it is coordinating that winning proposal, or designing materials for a music event that exceeds the required audience turnout.
